EEG (Educate, Entertain, Get Things Done was created to amplify the voices, history, and cultural contributions of the African American community in the Inland Northwest through programs, events, and initiatives that will prioritize, education, celebration, and advocacy for this community while fostering inclusive dialogue and shared experiences with all audiences.

Our Stories: Black Families in Spokane - EEG will continue collaboration with the N.W. Museum of Arts and Cultural event.

Our Pocketbooks: Financial Independence
EEG will provide ongoing instruction to young adults on financial literacy, generational wealth, and career prospects, both during and beyond high school.

Our Bodies: Wholesome Habits
EEG will enlist local chefs to share tips on shopping, techniques, and sources, providing participants with healthy, flavorful alternatives for home-cooked meals.

Our Food: Culinary Experience
Fundraising pop-up culinary events featuring local chefs highlighting the evolution of African American Cuisine.

Our Fun: Annual Eastside Block Party
EEG will host a block party on Spokane's Eastside featuring community services, local African American business booths, musical performances, a beverage garden, and children's activities.

Our Space: Inland Northwest African American Museum INAAM
EEG's ultimate aim is the creation of an event space housing an African American history museum and a variety of other programs (pop-up art exhibits, musical performances, poetry nights, vinyl nights, film screenings, and many others). Fostering understanding, providing cultural self-care to the community, and sharing African American history with all audiences.
